Takedown Piracy Adds 'Search Max' Feature

LAS VEGAS — Takedown Piracy has launched Search Max, a search engine for detecting, verifying, and removing infringing links from Google.

According to a rep, the engine performs three to five times faster than previous systems.

“Unlike some so-called competitors, this system allows us to maintain the highest level of detection and removals, but as importantly, verification of the infringements,” said Takedown Piracy COO/CMO Reba Rocket. “Our company has already removed, not just reported, over 107 million infringing links from Google’s index.

“This upgraded system keeps our service as the gold standard, as we provide the highest and best level of the volume of removals, without sacrificing accuracy,” Rocket added. “It prevents the unforced errors we see with some DMCA services, in which they haphazardly remove content that either does not belong to the client, or worse, removes their clients’ own content from their profiles, channels, and platforms, affiliates, or others in whose content they’ve appeared.”
